18 Months

So Kenadie went to her 18 month check up this week.  She is 32 1/2 in. long (75%), 21 lbs. 4 oz (10%), and her head is in the 50 %.  So she is long and skinny with an average head.  Let's hope for her sake that continues.  She's doing great except for a bout of croup this week (which was miserable).  We're just a little worried how she's going to do with her baby brother later this week.  Good luck to us!!!

Live Doll

Avrie has decided that it is much more fun to dress up Kenadie than silly old dolls.  Thankfully Kenadie is a pretty good sport most of the time--but there are definitely moments when their wills collide.  It's pretty cute though!

Poll Results

So, the baby name poll has officially ended and I thank all who participated.  The overwhelming frontrunner was Logan but unfortunately we still have not made a final decision on what to name this little boy.  It may be Logan, but at the moment we are not in agreement (we, meaning David and I, since I think it's really only our decision).  We do welcome suggestions though if anyone is aching to put in their two cents.  Time will tell--he'll be here in just 2 weeks so he'll have a name soon no matter what!

Great Grandma DeMille

My Grandma, Shalla DeMille, passed away this Christmas Eve.  It's been sad, of course, but we are really happy for her because she is where she wants to be now.  We had some rare precious moments with her earlier in the week to say goodbye.  How grateful it makes us for the gospel and the knowledge we have of our Father in Heaven's great plan for us.  How much easier it makes this type of situation for our young children because they understand that families are forever and that we will see Great Grandma again.  We will surely miss her until then!  We love you Grandma.

Later in the day on Christmas, we went to my parents house where the girls then opened more presents!

We really had a wonderful Christmas and thank everyone in our family, David's parents, my parents, Aunts, and Uncles for their contribution to it.  We love you all! 

 

Christmas Morning 2008

Another Christmas morning flies by.  The girls got plenty of good stuff from Santa and us.  It's amazing how much time the preparation for this moment takes and how quickly it is over!

Kenadie got a new stuffed dog, which she does love but he is not as special to her as her bunny that she carries with her everywhere!

We just had a nice time enjoying the gifts and watching everyone have fun.  Now it's time to eat some breakfast and go get more presents at Grandma and Grandpa's house!

Christmas Concert Dec. 17, 2008

This is a little overdue but videos and I don't get along quite so well as pictures. Anyway, this was Baylie's main choir concert this year. Unfortunately, the flip camera doesn't zoom very well so you can't see her very clearly but she is in the middle of the front row. Man, I wish this showed her facial expressions better because they are priceless!
