Name Vote

We're getting down to crunch time and still haven't come up with a name for our baby that we both agree on.  So, I've changed the poll to account for the real names that we've been considering.  Before you vote, sound them out with David as the middle name and of course, Brown and see what flows for you!  We'd love your opinions!

Tagged--Mi Esposo

What's your husband's name? David Farnsworth Brown
How long have you been married? 9 years 8 months
How long did you date? Date, prior to engagement--only about a month but we were engaged for 4 months
Who said I love you first? Him
Who asked who out first? He asked me..because he lost a game to Danny and he had to ask me out if he lost.
Who kissed who first? Pretty mutual timing.
How old is he? 32 yrs.
Who eats the sweets? We both eat them together, neither of us is very good at self control.
Who sings best? I'm going to have to go with myself on that one.
Who's smarter? We both have our strengths but I think he's a pretty smart guy.
Who cooks dinner and does laundry? I pretty much do everything around the house but that's only because his work and school schedule keeps him from home most days and nights. When he has time off, he pitches in wherever it's needed.
Who pays the bills? That would be me because I have the time.
Who drives? Both of us, but when we're together I usually insist on driving to help prevent his road rage tendencies (seriously, they're bad!)
Who wears the pants? Probably me but not solely--we try to discuss everything, he just doesn't usually have much an opinion.
Our favorite couple thing to do: Any evening that we get to actually see each other is a good one and we usually spend it curled up in bed catching up on certain TV shows that I save for when he and I are together.
His favorite pastimes: He doesn't really get to enjoy any of these right now but when he's not at work or school and he doesn't have any homework or studying to do, he loves to play any and all sports, watch sports, play with the kids, go hunting, and just spend time relaxing.
What I love most about him: Everything!  I love his super easy going personality, his patience, his sense of humor (most of the time), his unconditional love for me, his devotion to the gospel, how hard he works to make the best life possible for us, his selflessness, and what a wonderful dad he is.

I tag:  Anyone who has an awesome man they would like to brag about.

Self Mutilation/Hickies 101

I guess we have failed as parents!  We forgot to mention to our child what will happen if you continually suck on your skin for a long period of time.  I guess we all have to do this once to learn but she was pretty embarrassed about it after she realized the kind of mark it leaves. Funny stuff!

Sunny Days

The weather is so nice, which is so rare for Utah this time of year--so we had to take advantage. Kenadie is pushing my niece Kayhlen in the stroller since I was baby-sitting her.

Hostage Situation

I'm not sure how Kenadie is going to get out of this one.

Slight Change of Plans

Just an FYI, our due date is now January 21st thanks to my wonderful midwives who have set me up for an induction that day.  Not a big difference but a week earlier is a nice relief for the pregnant one.

Baylie's Baptism

Baylie and Avrie, just so excited for everything
to begin.  Kenadie is right behind them wandering the halls.
Baylie and David, the man of the hour.

Our family, for a little while longer.  My face and my stomach are swollen because I am over 6 months pregnant.  I realize this picture doesn't really show that very well, but it's true.

Immediately following her baptism.

The next day before church.

This was an amazing day.  Baylie was so ready for this that she was literally bouncing off the walls all morning.  Of course, the fact that it's the day after Halloween doesn't really help that, I'm sure.  Anyway, David and I both bawled like babies and watched our baby grow up!  The program was great and we had lots of friends and family there to help share the special day with us and David did a great job performing the baptism and confirmation.  The next day at church, she got to sit up in the front by the Bishop and get recognized and of course, she loved that!  We're so very proud of her and this decision she made to be baptized.  She is such an amazing young woman and I look forward to seeing the great decisions she makes in the future.  We love you Baylie!
