Brown Family Christmas Party

This was a fun night at a gymnastics place by David's brother's house. We spent the night playing, eating and exchanging presents. Lots of fun!

Joseph Smith Memorial Building

Customary performance of Baylie's choir. They do this every year and David, unfortunately, has had to miss every single one b/c of snow. Poor guy! It's a really nice time and I love to hear them singe there. Just incredible ambiance!

Yearly Gingerbread Houses

Our family makes these graham cracker houses each year at Christmas time. It's a lot of fun and the kids love to get creative with them. They also eat a lot of candy at the same time, so it's a win-win, of course!

Baylie's Operation

This was just a waiting room that we were in for 2 hours or so. She was a happy camper playing with all the activities the hospital gave her and watching a movie.

One last look at the eye!

This was after she got her IV put in--not a happy camper anymore!!!

They wheeled her away and then she was back in the recovery room in about 45 minutes.

Immediately after surgery in the recovery room. She was REALLY out of it for a while and her poor eyes were bleeding.

Think the wheelchair's big enough??

This was not a fun day for any of us. But, Baylie took it like a champ. She's still having trouble opening her eyes all the way, so we can't get a really good picture of what her eyes look like right now. They both have a long red line down them where I assume the laser cut. Crazy! We'll try to post pictures when she can open her eyes more. I'm proud of what a brave girl she was and so so so so thankful she is okay and hasn't had any serious side effects!

Bob & Phil

These are the newest additions to our family. Baylie got this little frog habitat for her birthday and we finally got two tadpoles to fill it. Baylie named them Bob & Phil--I have no idea which is which. Anyway, the kids think they're great especially when they swim really fast--they're speedy little buggers. Hopefully they'll survive until they reach frog-hood--we'll see!

Happy Halloween!!!

So, Halloween was lots of fun! We spent the evening at my parents house b/c Grandma had a wonderful party prepared with lots of good eats and fun games. We enjoyed it mom, thanks! The only downside was that Baylie was sick and really couldn't enjoy herself as much as she wanted to, she put on a brave face but didn't last long. Poor girl!

Our little care-bear, checking herself out in the mirror! She's such a cutie!

Avrie wanted Logan to be a fairy too.

Finished the makeup, take a picture before it gets wiped off!!!

Beautiful Fairy, Avrie.
Our sick little Vet. What a rotten way to spend Halloween!

Our cute little Squirt!

Skipping Dinner, feeling sick.

Eating a scaaaaary meal!

Game Time!

Cake walk, mummy wrap, good times!

Donuts on a string, yummy!
Pin the nose on the pumpkin.

And bobbing for apples!

This was the caravan at the beginning. It kind of fizzle out after only a short while.

I think Baylie only went to 10 or 15 houses and then called it quits. So, David and I endured on with Kenadie, Logan, Avrie, and our cousin Addie. Avrie and Addie were good pals and had fun together. We tried to go for awhile so that Addie could get lots of candy, but after a while Kenadie and Avrie had had enough!

This is near the end as we were making our way back to my parents' house. Logan was sleeping and Avrie was riding on the foot of the stroller too. So, I got my workout in, which was a plus! Have I ever mentioned what an awesome stroller we have???? It's really sweet that I can have 3 kids on it and still run! What a fun night and we got soooo much candy even with Baylie being sick. Too much---now I've got to exercise self control, whatever that may be. Thanks for the fun night mom, dad, and everyone that came to the party. Hope you all had a great Halloween!!!!
