Merry Christmas!!!

We had an amazing Christmas this year thanks to some secret friends and David's work. It was really amazing and I hope our kids don't think that every year will be this good!

waiting to come down the stairs! Logan slept through most of the unwrapping.

A remote control helicopter!

Play-doh ice cream shoppe.

Star Wars legos--that's a look of excitement if you can't tell!

Kenadie noticed that Santa left a little bit of cookie behind and decided to finish it off for him.

new outfit!
new clothes and boots!

Like they needed anymore presents, but they sure did get more at Grandma & Grandpa Wardwell's house!

That is the encyclopedia of immaturity! A present from my parents to my husband--I'm so proud! Well, I really am b/c David has finally graduated in the top 15% of his class at BYU--so I really am proud of him!

Christmas Eve 2009

All the kiddos in their new pajamas. Logan doesn't exactly pose for pictures, as you can see.

Logan's new pj's.
Kenadie's cozy jammies (she calls them that).

Avrie's princess pj's.

And, of course, Baylie got Spongebob.

Logan pretty much leaves a trail of destruction wherever he may go. First he was ripping the bows of all of Grandma's pretty presents.

Then he was destroying the cute manger scene. Each time it was picked up, he would be there shortly after, looking very smug and satisfied at terror he left behind!

This was a nice night spent at my parents' house. We had a nice dinner and played some games. The kids opened their new pair of pj's and we watched the nativity story from Living Scriptures. Then Grandpa shared a message of the Savior, the kids opened their new ornaments and we went home to catch some zzz's before Santa came (well, at least the kids got some sleep!). Poor Baylie's eye still bothering her--it's getting better now. She got some drops from the Dr, so she's on the mend again, but that's why her eyes are closed!

Temple Square Concert

Baylie's choir had two performances on temple square, the Sunday before Christmas. We had two puking kids so I wasn't able to go. David just took her up by himself. I was pretty bummed b/c it would have been a great family event to go to. Next year, though!

Christmas Sunday

Poor girl has had a minor complication from her eye surgery and her eyes were really bothering her that day before we got in to see the doctor.

That's the only smile she gave us the whole morning. But it was a cute one!

Avrie is our perfect little poser for pictures!

Handsome boy!

Are you looking at me?

Man, we have gorgeous kids! I love them to pieces!

Brown Family Christmas Party

This was a fun night at a gymnastics place by David's brother's house. We spent the night playing, eating and exchanging presents. Lots of fun!

Joseph Smith Memorial Building

Customary performance of Baylie's choir. They do this every year and David, unfortunately, has had to miss every single one b/c of snow. Poor guy! It's a really nice time and I love to hear them singe there. Just incredible ambiance!

Yearly Gingerbread Houses

Our family makes these graham cracker houses each year at Christmas time. It's a lot of fun and the kids love to get creative with them. They also eat a lot of candy at the same time, so it's a win-win, of course!
