For the last couple of years, my mom has made a little Halloween carnival in her garage. She has some fun activities and treats for the kids. They love it and then we go trick or treating in their neighborhood. So much fun--thanks for all your hard work Mom!

Grandpa and little Yoda.

Logan is a skunk now.

Doughnuts on a string.

Cake walk (or in this case, Little Debbie walk)

Pop the Pumpkin

And bobbing for apples.
Avrie was hilarious this year because she could not get the apple in her teeth but she was so determined. I lost count of how many times she tried. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be
perseverance. She was so excited when she finally got it.

We actually lasted a really long time this year. It was so much fun because the weather was so nice and Logan was in heaven. Him and Baylie were the most excited and worked the hardest (and therefore, scored the most candy). Avrie and Kenadie took breaks in the stroller quite often but Logan never wanted to stop.

At one door, he was given a full size candy bar and as he walked away he said "I want to go to that house again!" Yep, the spirit of Halloween is VERY strong in this one. Can't wait to see what the coming years bring!
